Author | Topic: Audiofile feeding SampleCloud |
LuisAly Member |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi forum I have a patch that has six SampleCloud and I wanted to feed the audio file only once and not having to repeat this step six times. Is there a way to do this? Many thanks Luis Aly IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() On the MemoryWriter, set the CaptureTime to the duration of your source and uncheck Cyclic. That will capture the source once and not overwrite it. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ok very smart solution ;-) but I was thinking in a kind of script that would ask what audiofile and the populate all the SampleCloud with the same audiofile. Hole is more clear what I wanted Creative regards Luis Aly IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Not sure why you would want the same audio file in 6 sampleclouds. Are you just looking for a denser samplecloud? Could you use a Replicator for this? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Jhinton That's precisely what I wanted to create debater clouds with different seeds. With replicator is it possible to load different sounds in each SampleCloud? Thought just hot parameters not cold ones as it is selecting the audiofile for a SampleCloud Thanks Luis Aly IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You could for example set the Seed parameter to: ?VoiceNumber / ?NumberVoices to get a unique seed in each copy of the SampleCloud made by a Replicator. IP: Logged |
