Author | Topic: Sample Problems on Dual Proc G4's |

![]() ![]() ![]() i have a strange problem while running kyma on my dual processor 450 G4. most samples sound garbled/clipped/stuttered when played. for example, in the kyma sample examples, the flamingo sample plays fine, the indoor jungle sample does not. all samples play fine in quicktime, protools, and cubase. doesn't seem to be related to whether the sample is mono or stereo. i never had this problem when i had kyma running from my old powermac, or single processor G4. i just put kyma on my dual processor G4 over the weekend and got this bizarre behavior. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Marcus, The most likely cause is an old Capybara driver, not the duality of your processors (since there are lots of people using Kyma on dual G4 Macs). Please check to see if you are using Capybara Driver PPC 5.03 and Kyma 5.09. Thanks. IP: Logged |
