HiHi!
I'll soon be performing live with a choir and KYMA once a few things have been ironed out!

So one question is, and this'll be a SIMPLE one for ya'll:
How do I assign the Y Axis of the Keyboard in "Kyma Control" to control any VCS object such as frequency for example?

If it's !Keytimbre

WoopWoop almost KISS time!

I'm struggling just a little on how to apply !Keytimbre to various parameters as i'm a real newbie (although less so after a session with Pete the Legend) but it's fun trying.

I'm trying to have the Y-Axis on the keyboard control the cutoff (simple i'm sure but not for me yet!):

!Keytimbre hz in the Cutoff field
Makes sound disappear.

(!Keytimbre hz) + (!Frequency hz)
Gives a single frequency cutoff as do combinations of the above

Currently scanning through xRevealed to find answers to life any help would make my week
Thanks all!

You could try this as a starting point:

!Frequency * (1 + !KeyTimbre)

That would give you !Frequency when !KeyTimbre is zero (near the bottom) and and octave higher when !KeyTimbre is near the top.

Yus! Thanks so much for takin time out to help expand my brainium!

So to truly make the filter talk, might changing the addition to a multiplication give us an exponential (?) result making the sweep wide?

!Frequency * (2*!Keytimbre)

Tried! That certainly worked nicely.
Also congratulations ya'll on making a REALLY nice sounding VCF.
Reminds me a little of my old Prophet ProOne… (which I wish I still had!!).
