Been looking at squeak and its associated tutorials. There seems to be a great deal in the program that is not particularly related to working in kyma or capytalk. Is it wise to get a broad general view of all things smalltalk if I would like to learn capytalk in depth?

How up on smalltalk do you need to be in order to properly understand and implement capytalk?

Are there any important small talk tutorials, e-books etc that I should look at as a beginner?

The best place to begin is with the chapters on Smalltalk and CapyTalk in Kyma X Revealed.

I've been looking for the recommended literature concerning smalltalk. It appears to be available in book format in the u.s. only. Having said that, the one book is 0.01p (u.k. pence) while the others are around £3.00. Found them on amazon.

Is it very worthwhile to obtain and read these books?
