![]() ![]() ![]() Is the nextchaotic reserved function the kyma implementation of the logistics map function listed on pg157 , f(x) = a*x*(1-x) or is it a different function? The next chaotic I found in the expressions library is different function, so i am a little uncertain if i use nextChaotic which or what function generator I would be using. thanks IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, nextChaotic: implements the logistic function. The only difference is that the Kyma parameter "k" is equal to the logistic function "a" minus 3. That is, if you want an "a" value of 3.5, use a "k" value of 0.5. IP: Logged |
