A non configuration type question.

I have been composing midi notes on my sequencer, perfectly in sync with my timeline all via ethernet! (Thanks Doug)

I have some notes now, I have exported them as a midi file, loaded the midi file into the midivoice, press play. (having changed back to 'free running'

Two Issues.
A) I can't hear sound until I re-select the snapshot in the browser. (perhaps intermittent)
B) two or three of my controls disappear from the VCS (If I edit the sound an select midi input, my controls come back.)

Theories.
A) None. Pretty sure I did not have this problem before.(then again I am quite mad)
B) 1) I did wonder if this was something to do with duplicated VCS names on other sounds on the timeline. I have removed all other sounds and tested my issue. (no joy)
2) A couple but not all of the disappearing names feature on my edited global map.
3) Is this to do with alternative values on the initial global timeline VCS loaded (I have to select the wavetable sound VCS layout, not the timeline one to re-select its snapshot.

Any tips, pointers or stern pointings at the texts appreciated.

I have included a file archive, inc timeline, midifile, even the wavetable I was using.

I don't think it is anything to do with the midi file, I have the same sound on a different arrangement, running live midi from sequencer, and my Sw2, modulation and other faders are missing. I can see them in the sound structure, but they don't appear in the list of VCS items, or on the timeline parameters.
