![]() ![]() ![]() Hi guys hey im starting with smalltalk and I want to commit to a long therm project, I want to create an interface in the ipad to deal with all sort of processes and algorithmic composition using the kyma spectrum analyzer. basically i want to be able to select any partial in the spectrum and apply any kind of operation i feel like, could be an algorithmic process or i could apply a synthesis method using that particular partial, i have several ideas for composing this way, some spectral music ideas and some similar to the metha synth, i dont know if you are familiar with that one: I want to be able to do all this in kyma and I have no idea which version to use that I can use and will be compatible with kyma, squeak or pharo or which? thanks a lot in advance!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() If you are writing it as an iPad app, perhaps the best approach would be to write your app in Objective C and communicate with Kyma via OSC. Here's a link to the SOS Analysis File format so you can read Kyma spectrum files: http://www.symbolicsound.com/fileFormats.html IP: Logged |
