moistFingerOnGlass.kym

I was playing around with the slipstick examples and came to the "moistFingers on Glass" sound. When I make circles on the Wacom-tablet, there is always a little "bump"in the sound, when the pen goes from one half circle into the other (sounds like lifting the finger and placing it again on the glass).
How could I make the sound "permanent", like rubbing and exciting the glass so that I get a smooth tone without re-exciting it every half circle?
Any thoughts appreciated!

I tried a couple of ideas for smoothing out the change in direction. One possibility is:

{!X suffix: ?VoiceNumber} normSin

Not sure whether this is an improvement or not...

I could not recognize an improvement but I have another idea.
The instrument I have in mind is a "Geigenclavier" or "Geigenklavizimbel", a keybouard instrument where the strings of the instrument are pressed against a rotating wheel that acts as a bow.
Maybe I could mix three slipstick sounds and give each of them a third of a circle. They must overlap so that the beginning and the end of the "position" are not heard. Could you please give me a hint how I could modify the existing sound so that I can make three overlapping sounds?

Hi Franz,

That's a clever solution. As a test, you could try mixing the current Sound output with its output delayed through a DelayWithFeedback. Try making the delayScale adjustable so you can "tune" it until you fill in the gaps. If the result is getting close to the right sound, then you and we can together come up with a way to do it with two overlapping SlipSticks.
