Hi,

in K7, I have problem with embeddings - sometimes, not allways, I can't say I've foud a pattern so far, but usualy in MultiGrids,
when I press/switch something in embedded sounds in VCS, the whole (embedded) area turns grey.
If I stop the sound and restart it, VCS look normal again.
I disabled Graphics Acc and Fast Screen Red in Kyma Preferances ...

is maybe OS 10.6.8. to blame?
should I upgrade OS?

Is it possible that, when this happens, it is because you are activating a Sound that has no controls? The Multigrid VCS switches to show the controls of the most recently activated Sound; if you happen to activate a Sound with no live controls, the VCS turns gray.

No ... I dont't think so, anyway, here is a file with Sound I made from voice1.aiff in SampleEditor than Grid out of it
and, while there are embeddings, toggling e.g BMP in Chopper will make all that area gray
however, if I remove all the embeddings, ewerything looks as it should
??

We tried the Sound you sent but were unable to get it to draw that gray box.

Could you please attach (or email) the Multigrid so that we can try that?
