Hi SSC,

A while ago I got a second monitor for the PC I run Kyma on and I immediately ran into an issue I was unable to resolve:
The (Intuous 4) tablet works fine until I launch Kyma, midway into Kyma starting up the tablet seems to freeze. What happens is the tablet stops working when the surface is mapped over the two screens. When I use the display toggle on the tablet I can switch from screen to screen or simply use the mouse which works fine but I have an RSI and I need the tablet for ergonomic reasons.
This issue only happens when Kyma is running, once I quit Kyma the tablet works across both screens again.

I posted about this a while (circa 18-24 mths) ago but at the time I was very busy with work so I just let it slide. I put it down to the fact that I was running two 24" monitors off a card that wasn't really up to the job.

A few weeks ago I upgraded the card to something actually designed for twin head operation (as opposed to just having two kinds of output a Matrox PCIe P690 and the problem persists.

Hope you can help.
thanks,
Sean

I should add a second problem after install of the new video card - poor screen redraw in Kyma when any window was moved or displayed over another, making the app really difficult to use - was observed and resolved by setting Enable Graphics Acceleration in Misc Preferences to "No". Kind of counter intuitive but it worked

Hi Sean,

In Preferences, Wacom Tablet, Tablet Pen Control:
Please try switching between Sound and Cursor as the selection.

Does it make a difference which mode is selected?
