![]() ![]() ![]() Hello. I just dragged an epic long sample into the tau by mistake and it is now faithfully analysing it. It may take some time. I did try a few combinations yet am wondering if there was a way to halt said process? Not really sure what I am going to do with such a long TAU file. Charlie Oh NO, I clicked the stereo option. ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok whilst on the TAU topic.... 'Cost parameter: For the maximum range of frequency, formant, and rate scaling, set the Cost value to 3. For playback with rate scaling and small frequency/formant changes, select a Cost of 2. For playback with time stretching/compression only, select a Cost value of 1. The higher the value of Cost, the more processing power required.' This is all very well. Does the 'Cost 4' setting change anything at all ? Heheh I have been pondering this one for a while. ![]() ![]() ![]() It is analogous to setting the amplifier to 11! Actually it gives you a little extra smoothing during extreme time-stretching. (Thanks for the reminder to add something to the comments about it!) IP: Logged |
