Hi

I just bought an Wacom tablet ( Intuous 5 i think) and all the parameters don't match in Kyma. In the Pen example 'test all controls' only PenZ, PenAngle, PenButton2, PenRadius are working.

thanks...

Hi Gurwal,
The version we are using here is: 6.3.7-3. Could you please give that version a try? Thanks!

Still it doesn't work....
I have disabled all the options of the tablet.
So I am running wacom v6.3.7-3 and Kyma X v6.88f0 with Capybara 320 on a MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8.
I am becoming very frustrated !!!

Thanks for your help.

When you Edit>Preferences in Kyma and click Wacom Tablet... do you have Tablet Pen Controls set to Sound?

Please try the following:
Play Clicks from the Prototypes
Click the Pen icon at the top of the VCS to open the Pen Status window
Use Pen Status to map PenX to !BPM and PenZ to !Amp

Does it work differently when you use the Pen Status window?

Thanks!

Wow, it seems that things have evolved since my intuos 3 !
Just wondering, do you support full functionality of the intuos 5 tablets ?
Multitouch gestures etc ?
Would i be gaining anything by updating to a newer pen tablet ?

cheers

The post-Intuos 3 tablets have higher resolution (but the multitouch gestures are not utilized in Kyma. They would only be available when you use it as your mouse).

Thanks for the reply !
The increased resolution is probably the most interesting aspect of this indeed,
do you plan to support these extra gestures/features though ?
