Someone was asking us for advice on good quality microphones with a bandwidth of 8Hz a 30KHz. These are for a scientific project, so I assume that they are looking for a very flat response across all frequencies. I don't know enough about microphones to advise them. Does anyone have some ideas? Or some websites where one can compare microphones?

Thanks!

Sonodore microphones from Rens Heijnis are very flat 5Hz - 20KHz, but he's doing a lot of custom-made projects. So maybe 30KHz is possible
