hi all - my first post here

i've been shedding on KYMA but haven't gotten very far into capytalk yet. maybe someone can help me here: using memorywriter or diskrecord, how can i limit the recording time to coincide with the threshold at, say -60db. I assume it's just a matter of pasting a threshold into the CaptureDuration with an expression?

ahhh.. I see now that CaptureDuration is not a hot value. Hmmm... Any suggested workarounds?

Although the CaptureTime is a constant, you could take the approach of setting CaptureTime to the maximum time it could be. Then instead of limiting how much you record, you could instead limit how much of the recording buffer to play back. (An example is attached).
