I'm (finally) releasing my physical modeling package for Kyma.

Demos, online manual, ordering info are at:
http://www.outersect.net/modeler/

This only runs on the Capy 320, not Paca (yet).

Wow, the demos sound really good - do you include example patches or presets?

Yeah I thought the demos sounded great too, I would definitely buy this package if it becomes available for Pacarana (I only became a Kyma user this year...).

I agree with both of the responders. I think the demos sound great. Add me to the list of customers if it gets ported to the Pacarana.

Sorry, but isn't the Harm Visser Kyma Physical Modeling Toolkit far more intense for $189?

I don't know, I've listened to the Harm Visser demos as well, and was also considering that toolkit. I'm not a Kyma expert but my subjective opinion from listening to the Outersect demos was they are definitely offering something different, particularly the string harmonics seemed very interesting... Or maybe you can achieve exactly the same results with both, I dunno!?

There are a bunch of example sounds included with the package,
including all the sounds used to create the audio demos.

WRT Harm's package - I think they're really 2 very different animals.

I have Harm's package and don't find it very user friendly, although it can make some very interesting sounds.

It looks to me as though Rob's prototypes have more obvious parameters and easier control options.
