![]() ![]() ![]() I've just discovered that the VCS layout for a Sound ending with a CrossFilter does not "propagate" if you add anything after the CrossFilter. For example, make a Sound with a CrossFilter as the last prototype, play the Sound and create some VCS presets. Now use the CrossFilter as the input into another Sound, say an Annotation. Now when run, the VCS layout from the CrossFilter is nowhere to be found. I just got Harm Visser's physical models and many of them end with CrossFilters, and the Presets are very complicated. I can't use those Sounds as inputs into anything else because of this issue, unless I tediously re-create his settings. Suggestions? IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() Bill could you please email us an example that does this? I think it must be particular combinations that show this behavior (I tried it just now with a GenericSource going through a GraphicEQ and into a CrossFilter. I create a preset. Then added an EQFilter on the end of the chain. The preset and all the controls were still there in this particular case, so maybe it depends on the particular Sounds). Thanks! IP: Logged

When I compile this Sound, the VCS for "source" is available, along with its preset. If I add anything after the CrossFilter, (I tried Annotation, VCF and GraphicEQ each individually) the "source" VCS and preset are still there, but the CrossFilter one isn't. IP: Logged
