Anyone out there tried Nuendo on a PC?

If so, what was opinion of the sonic purity?

Any recommendations for PC digital I/O, Digigram or Tascam USB428?

Anyone out there have any experience as to whether Nuendo on a PC would have better or worse fidelity than an old Sonic Solutions SSP system?
