Here are 2 intelligent pitch shifters. The included scales are; the seven modes of the major scale, the harmonic minor, the major and minor pentatonic, and the enigmatic. The first one (Scott's IPS) stays in key whether the input is in key or not and won't track bends. The second one (Scott's IPS N2) stays in key as long as the input is in key but will go out of key with the input. It will track bends. They both have glide faders which act like portamento. They both also have a PT switch which stands for pedal tone. If this is checked, then the output pitch will be the selected interval above the tonic of the specified key, regardless of the input pitch (I hope that made sense). So, if you want the harmony to move with the input, this needs to be unchecked. The second one also has a fade section to allow fading in and out. You can also bypass the fade completely. On the interval faders, 1=unison, 2=2nd, 3=3rd etc. On the delay faders 1=whole note, 2=1/2 note, 4=1/4 note etc. Try them out and let me know what you think. Scott Holden IP: Logged |
