Hi,

I have planned to change my actual MacMini PPC 1.42 GHz to the new MacMini Intel Core Duo 1.66 GHz.
Can this improve the speed of creating .psi files ?
Briefly, how are the main benefits to have more CPU ?

New MacMini comes with the Intel GMA950 graphics processor that "eat" memory from the RAM. You know issues about this with Kyma ? Maybe better 1 GB of RAM ?

Thank you very much!!

Jesus

You would see a small increase in speed, probably a little more than the clock speed ratio 1.66/1.42. Yes, the CPU speed does affect the PSI analysis speed. It would be a good idea to get 1 GB memory since, as you point out, the graphics card eats into the RAM.
