![]() ![]() ![]() Here's the second Sound I've been working on over the past month. Actually, like the one in the other thread, there are two versions here. This one is based on my love of the Korg Wavestation-style wavesequencing and, maybe more so, the wavesequencing patches I often make on my big modular synthesizer. http://www.theelectronicgarden.com/Scot/WaveState.zip The first of the Sounds is called WaveState, and it contains a single-oscillator wavetable synth with lots of per-step functions as well as global stuff too. The included WaveSeq folder contains 150 custom samples I've made and recorded over the years that I thought would work well here. These samples are entirely my own creations, so are license-free for you to do as you like. Instead of going into detail on the features of the two included WaveState instruments (the second is a dual version), I've included a PDF file spelling it all out and listing the wave files. WaveState is great fun and can provide some very slick rhythms, or clock-synced musique concret sorts of passages. It can also serve as a sort of "Berlin-School" sequencer. One thing: At one point, I added 33 more samples to the folder and at least once after that, the individual index faders couldn't find those - it fixed itself and has been okay since. I've no idea why it did that. So if you find the thing playing sample index 116 (a snare sort of sound) instead of 117 and above, you'll know what I'm talking about. You may have to tell the Multisampler prototype where to look for the samples, since you will undoubtedly keep them in a different location than I do. IP: Logged |
