I have been working on the VCS for a performance piece I am developing. I was thinking about color options to make the various controls more rapidly identifiable in performance and thought of a few things that would make this easier:

1. It would be good if we could color the Widgits, faders included here - I am aware of the on/off coloring of the Button(fill) but would like to see this also for all widgits - boxes included

2. I would like to see a user variable color palett so that one could make use a color for the text label and vary the color a little in different groups of controls

3. It would be good to be able to set the color of the background in the VCS

Other thoughts:

If one changes the name of a widgit, it is hard to detirmine the origin of the variable control - it would be great if when the widgit is selected in the VCS, there is an indication of which algorithm it belongs to (this is when working with a number of algorithms in a timeline).

I have also noticed that the controls do not turn up on the motormix in the same order as the order of the widgits in the VCS - this seems a little difficult to find the source as it is inconsistent.
