at cca 6.55 some device is used ...
any ideas how to make something like that in Kyma?
I'd like to use it on marimba, talking drum etc
micro-tonal if possible

Hi, the Eventide Ultraharmonizer DSP4000 had a similar sounding program, which was designed by Brian Eno and was called: Crystal Heaven. I tried to imitate this in a KymaSound and came up with the following. It might not be exactly, what you are looking for, but I guess its a good starting point. if you play around with the FreqScale, you get different "tunings" in the repetition. If you play with the DelayScale, you can change them further... to change the "body" of the sound, you might try changing the fixed feedback values in the Delay Sounds along the line... have fun

wow awesome video! i own a fractal audio axe-fx and it has a preset called crystal echos and it does this exactly. it's a beautiful effect, thanks for the patch!
