![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I know that by dragging a loop or similar file into the BPM parameter field of the timeline, you can extract the BPM, and set the timeline to that tempo, but what if once my timeline's tempo was set, I wanted to drag in other loops with different tempos and have them sync to the pre-defined BPM of the timeline? For example.. My timeline is at 120 BPM and im happy with that tempo, but I now want to drag in a loop or file at 165BPM and make it play at 120.... Thanks in advance IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you set the new loop's bpm to the hot value !BPM, then it will automatically be controlled by the Timeline's BPM. For example if the new loop's natural rate is 165 bpm and you are playing it back using Sample, you could set the Frequency parameter to: default * (!BPM / 165) That way, if your !BPM control is set faster than 165, the loop will play back at a faster rate (and if the !BPM is less than 165, it will play back at a slower rate).
