I need to randomly select and play samples - something like what is done in the KeyMappedMultisample example.

The problem is, all the samples have different durations, and I need to play each one completely before triggering the next one. So, regular triggering with BPM won't work.

Any suggestions about how to do this?

play_process_record.kym

You could do your random selection in a Script. Here's an example of a Script for batch processing a folder full of samples. This one iterates over the set of files, but you could modify it to randomize the order of the files. It includes the code for asking a SamplesFile for its duration.
