Another question relating to the MIDIScript - I want to have the attached sound play in a timeline. I need the MIDI script and the polyphony to play the samples from the resonant filter. However I can not make it work in the timeline. I know it is not recommended to use a MIDIVoice in the timeline however I am not aware of another way to do this, and this sound does give me the sonic qualities I want. Thanks in advance for your advice Cheers, Garth IP: Logged | |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Garth, One thing I noticed is that you have a ReplaceableInput in your Sound. There's a possibility that you are getting a different input when you drag this Sound into a Timeline track (if that track has an audio input). I tried your example with Samples substituted for the live inputs (in order to be able to test it in with a consistent input) and it sounds the same whether it is played standalone or dragged into Track 1 of a Timeline. Wonder if there is some other difference in your Timeline (for example, please check that the Track Controls have not accidentally been set so Level is 0 or something along those lines. Are you hearing any audio at all from the Timeline? (I noticed there is a time delay from the start of the Sound to the first audio output but that is true both in and out of the Timeline). Hope that removing the ReplaceableInput does the trick. To remove all ReplaceableInputs open the Sound signal flow editor. Then, with no Sounds selected, go to the Action menu and select Set ReplaceableInput. IP: Logged |
