i recently picked up a mc control and mix - the new controllers from euphonix. i must say, they are pretty darn flexible and i am enjoying how they integrate into just about any set up. the configurable touch screen on the mc control is quite nice and the smart switching between apps is just brilliant.

any chance on getting these supported in kyma? right now i just have a bunch of keyboard shortcuts mapped to the surface and buttons - which is great - but it would be amazing to have the faders and knobs auto update according to the vcs layout (like the motormix).

dreaming...

Would be nice.

I have found that getting the SDK form Euphonix is not that easy though.

Also have you updated to 1.3.1? It makes the touch screen much more responsive.

hi andy,

as i havent yet updated to 10.5.7, i am still running 1.3.0 (i think 1.3.1 just fixes a bug with that specific leopard update), but yes, the touchscreen is vastly improved!

have you spoken to euphonix about the sdk? it would be so great to have easy access.. i can think of a billion things i could use that touchscreen for

i was running a packet sniffer on my network this morning to try and figure out what exactly these units are sending out.. got a ton of data, but it's going to take a while to sort through it and see if i can make heads or tails of it!

I have tried to talk to Euphonix about the Eucon Sdk, they do not answer my emails.

I have heard other companies also having difficulty, I think you basically have to be a Euphonix Development Partner to get hold of it.

There are some details in this pdf: http://www.euphonix.com/pro/news/img/reviews/euph_aes_eucon_paper_oct06.pdf

And the email for enquiry is eucon@euphonix.com but they don't seem to reply to me.

Cheers
