![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I thought of preparing some nice wavetables to be used with an Index. I have some PPG-like wavetables that I would like to prepare to use with Kyma. Is there any software or tool that can help me to this task? At this moment the best solution I can think of is saving every single wave in those wavetables, resample each of them to a duration of 4096 samples and then concatenating them by copy/pasting into a final wavetable. I imagine I could use Wavelab for the task, probably it will do the resampling to 4096 samples. This looks a bit tedious... Maybe I should just forget and do a GA Analysis of the wavetable being swept? What would be the pros and cons? Thanks in advance for your help. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I would experiment with MultiSample and MultiSampleCloud. But even more interesting might be to try the Morph1dGA or Morph2dKeymappedGA (if you have the waves sampled at different frequencies). If you use the new Batch Harmonic Analysis from the Tools menu, you could also try out the Psi and Spectral Sounds along the way. But first, you could try out the Morph1dSampleCloud and Morph2dKeymappedSampleCloud even before you do the analyses. Do you have a single cycle of each waveform? Or a longer recording of each (with multiple cycles)? [This message has been edited by SSC (edited 28 February 2012).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks! Lots of homework for this weekend ![]() I see that an interesting old thread about wavetables has also been "resurrected". Good! IP: Logged |
