![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Wish/WorkflowEfficiencyGeneral OOOO Look (Charlie Points), there are edits and references to a foretold X.78 I quote directly from the prophecy: 'As of Kyma X.78, the Sound editor remembers the dividing line position.' Other wishes have also been granted. Don't you wish you made some wishes now! ;-p I have to confess clicking the 'check for update' dialogue *just in case*. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well that's not going to help my insomnia now is it ![]() I re-read the list and I think my first vote goes to find and replace on strings in a sound. It is very often I load up a sound and want to replace multiple instances of a variable (sample filenames usually). It would be so much nicer to hit a key command and do find and replace on that filename within the whole sound. Currently doing it by hand in the GUI means double-clicking every module, checking each text box for the variable, clicking to select, paste etc. Pretty long winded with complex sounds..... Oh and whilst I'm posting up my Christmas wish list: A configuration option for opening files in an external editor (scripts and audiofiles would be my immediate desire) would be amazing. Mainly because I want to edit my scripts in Vim and we finally have Wavelab on Mac A most recent files list and remembering the last used layout of Kyma windows (even basic screensets?) would also make things a bit more comfortable.. Thanks in advance S(anta)SC! d IP: Logged |
