Does anyone knows how to configure OSCulator in order to send Kyma events using Kinect as a controler?

You could contact Camille (he's very helpful!) http://osculator.net

Jon Bellona has been doing a lot with the Kinect recently. You might try asking Jon: http://deecerecords.com/kinect/

If you send the data as OSC messages it is easy to plug them into kyma patches.

You can use Synapse http://synapsekinect.tumblr.com/post/6307752257/maxmsp-jitter

or OpenNI - with NiMate (a better solution in my view) http://www.ni-mate.com

Then you can see the data name space in OSCulator and send it on to Kyma - i.e.

!osc_skeleton_1_torso__1 will give you the 'x' coordinate of the named parameter for user 1
!osc_skeleton_1_torso__2 will give you the 'y' coordinate of the named parameter for user 1
!osc_skeleton_1_torso__3 will give you the 'z' coordinate of the named parameter for user 1

each joint is named according to the solution you decide to use.

Hope that helps

Cheers, Garth
