![]() ![]() ![]() ..that have been on my mind for a long time. Maybe I just missed the memo, but: Just what is a "user microsound"? A custom DSP program for those chosen few into dsp programming? Is there a way to turn off the license notice every time I start Kyma? Larry IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, user microsounds are DSP assembly language plug-ins. Our attorney insisted that we show the agreement every time Kyma is started up, but we managed to get him to allow us to show it only once a day, no matter how many times you start Kyma. (Also, we tried to make it as painless as possible by having it show up last in the start up sequence and to make it go away with either a mouse click on the button, or by pressing the Enter key.) If it is any consolation, we have to hit Enter on the same agreement when we start up Kyma. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, now I understand. I could have sworn there were some days when it stopped asking--it was when I restarted rather than just leaving it running. Re you having to put up with the same thing: you have a point; I have nothing to complain about. I suppose you've tried explaining to him that Kyma requires a $3,000 dongle? Or better yet, when I need to overrule our corporate lawyers I usually just say "It's a business issue" and they back off. Example Lawyer: "We can't agree to put a 30 day warranty in the contract with the customer." Wierd but works nine times out of ten. IP: Logged |
