Does the AVC beta require Tiger? I'm having trouble getting it to work and I'm starting to suspect its because I'm on OSX 10.3.9

Hi !

I am running Tiger, and I can tell it is working.
I think the audio system (and FireWire too) has substantially changed between Panther and Tiger, so that's why you may have problems with the new AV/C streaming.

I believe you are right that OS 10.4 is required. (The earlier versions did not support slaving to a FireWire device sample rate clock.)
