Sorry but this question is not directly kyma related but I wondered if some one could explain (or point me to any explanation) 30 frame non drop 29.97 frame non drop to an english person.

It has something to do NTSC video black-and-white vs colour, black-and-white works with 30-frame (Non-Drop) but when colour television was invented, the technology could not adequately transmit colour at a 30-frame rate so therefore had to be reduced to 29.97-frame but this is slower than real time 1 hour and 3.6 seconds. To make it exact 1 hour they created Drop-Frame.
