![]() ![]() ![]() hi (i'll post this to the twiki after i write here, just easier for me to type.think here) i'm looking to create (or find, if one exists) a Kyma Sound that i can use to widen the stereo image of a complete mix. i need this for a mastering application so it has to be CLEAN and well created with minimal phase artifacts (although, if i understand correctly, this sort of process manipulates phase). ideally it would have an ammount control, of course, and even a band splitter that could be used to apply the effect to different frequency ranges separately. (although, i have my own band splitter in Kyma, so i could probably combine the 2 patches) can anyone assist in making such a creation, or let me know if one already exists? again, i stress that it is to be used for mastering a finished track so it has to be pretty uncolored and clean. thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() A while back, several people on the forum were working on M-S encoder/decoders that did a good job of widening the stereo field. You could give those Sounds a try: http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayprivate&number=3&topic=000013 IP: Logged |
