I'm trying to control Kyma with my iPad and the Kyma Control App. I hooked up my Paca with my Wireless Router via ethernet and got both my Computer and my iPad connected to the same network. In Kyma Control I see my paca (beslime571) and I can connect to it. But after about 10 seconds or so I lose the connection for about 5 seconds, then after 10 seconds I lose it again and so on...
Any clues?

greets,
gustav

I had a similar issue with kyma control never actually seeing my pacarana.
Perhaps there is something with the ports of your modem/router, they might be blocked by the provider (?)

In the end changing a router fixed it for me....

but if some important ports where blocked I couldn't even connect to my paca, right? The problem is I can connect but I get disconnected after 10 seconds, then I get connected again, then again disconnected and so on.
could it be some kind of DHCP setting? Any improved settings for my router? the provider shouldn't have any influence, right? In my case there is no provider, I just created a network to control my paca...
maybe I'll try another router and see if that changes anything.

Is the wireless signal strength high enough or could you be getting interference from a portable telephone?

Do you have Bluetooth on the iPad turned on? At one time we had heard that Bluetooth networking could cause some reliability problems...
