Cross Filter_long operates great as a Sound, using both Paca processors at c60-70%.

But, in timeline it max's 1 processor and then stops.

How do I get it to utilise both processors in timeline?

You could try two things:
Check "allow longer response time"
and / or: reduce the length of the capture time / response time.
Hope this helps.

Thank you Franz,

I am curious to know why in timeline the Sound commands only the 1 CPU, whilst in isolation the same sound, and settings and response file, utilises both processors.

I already have longer response time checked, and really want the full length of the response as I created it in isolation. The musician I am composing for has become embodied it as part of her performance.

Its a bit odd that timeline behaves like that .... unless there is a preference somewhere.

If all else fails I will reduce capture time .... should have got an upgrade at KISS2013.

Hi Craig,
when you geht an out of realtime message you usually don't get exact readings in the status window.
When you put a sound into a timeline you have to "pay" for the additional mixer and panner which are included in the timeline. That could be the reason why your sound is running only without the timeline.
It could be a solution to put the sound without the crossfilter in one track, make a submix and put the crossfilter reverb on a second track which is connected to the submix. Maybe Kyma can schedule the sounds easier then.
Maybe you could simplify your sound at one point?
If not, I'd experiment with the forced processor sound.
I hope that helps.
