![]() ![]() ![]() Hi - I'm still feeling the urge to start programming extra tools... As I'm building this mega-sequencer at the moment ( http://www.last.fm/user/cristian_vogel/journal/ ) , I now have some reason to build a tool. The first thing I guess , would be to build a load of keyboard/MIDI note shortcuts. Would this be a good way to start? Is there an example that I could study? Then maybe later, I was thinking it would be good to use a tool to load in new samples and sampe pallettes as the sound is compiled and running - would this be possible? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, is it something like this? http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Wish/WorkflowEfficiencyTools#Fake_Keyboard Cheers MM IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Matteo, the fake keybaord you are wishing for, should be a relatively straightforward one. You can have a look at the code used in Carla's examples at http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Share/Tools , where she has made a Shift key to gate, and other keys to pitch, examples.. its just a matter of combining perhaps the Fake Keyboard tool from the standard Kyma tools, with the code examples of the above. Probably involving some repetive copy and pasting, but you could easily do the whole keyboard. IP: Logged |
