Here's a Kyma emulation of one of my more favorite analog modules (from ElectroNotes). It 'center clips' a triangle wave, level shifts and amplifies the resulting peak and anti-peak, inverts them and adds them back into the original. The result, under envelope control of mix, is a shift from relatively low harmonics (pure triangle) to a higher harmonic content signal. You'll need to modify the sound to point to the location of the two waveshapers and the triangle wave. Then play around with it, the oscilloscope views should give better insight into what's going on. Thanks much to Carla who helped me craft this during the immersion weekend this summer! cheers, Bill Felton www.gryfon.com IP: Logged |
