![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, assume you want to be able to gradually lower some partials of a sound in volume, what would be the easiest filter technique to accomplish this? I thought about substracting those partials from the original sound (via filter and difference), but there must be a simpler solution in kyma? Any hints? (I'm a little blocked right now) Best, Florian IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You could use the GraphicEQ Sound to adjust the levels of fixed frequency ranges. Alternatively, you could do a spectral analysis and use the SpectrumModifier to block (or change the amplitude) of certain partial numbers. You could use a highpass filter to attenuate the amplitudes of all of the partials below a certain frequency. If you give us a little more detail of what you would like to accomplish, I am sure that the other people reading this forum will have some suggestions. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I was looking for something like an GraphicEQ, ideal would be 3/4 bands and controllable frequencies, bandwidths. But the GraphicEQ pretty much accomplishes what I wanted. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() you could also try the FilterBank-Element (it is under Xtra Sources). this would allow you to build a subtractive filter bank with user definable number partials, frequencies, and bandwidths. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the tip. Kyma is so broad, I forgot about that prototype. I'll have a look as soon as possible. IP: Logged |
