here is the issue I'm having with the Timeline not going to Zero. (Kyma X.51 on OSX 10.5.1 and not running any other application alongside Kyma) The steps I've tried are as follows: 1) Open Timeline: Time Cursor at 00:00:00:00 as expected It seems such a trivial issue but almost drove me mad trying to get it to work. Any tips to solve this would be most welcome Thanks, Andrew [This message has been edited by photonal (edited 05 January 2008).] IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Andrew, In most Timelines, you can rewind to the beginning using Cmd (or Ctrl) + LeftArrow or by typing 00:00:00:00:00 in the timecode field to the left of the time ruler. But you're right, the timeline you've attached refuses to go back to time zero. It seems to be due to the fact that it runs out of real time right at the beginning of the Timeline when it is fetching the initial buffers from all those disk players and doing 9 spectral analyses in parallel. When I changed the DiskPlayers to Samples, it did the rewind to zero normally. Any chance you could use Samples instead of DiskPlayers? Another workaround for now would be to select all the timebars and shift their start times to 02:00. This should enable you to rewind to a point prior to the start of the DiskPlayers. ![]() ![]() ![]() The new version of Kyma on the tweaky (X.52) corrects the problem and lets you rewind all the way to zero, even if you have Disk players in the Timeline IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() Thankyou very much for the bug fix!! in my frustrated state it didn't occur to me to shift all the disk players to the right hand side - I'll try and keep cool and collected if something like that happens again IP: Logged |
