Hi,

I'm using a PreSonus Firebox with my Pacarana. It won't let me change the midi input in the status window to "Silent Device" without also changing the midi output to silent as well.

I was hoping to have the Pacarana send out midi, but not receive midi. I was then going to plug the Firebox midi out (coming from the Pacarana) to the Firebox midi in (going in to the computer), and have Osculator read the midi in port. Messages going to the Pacarana would just go in via Osculator. That way I wouldn't have to carry around an extra USB midi device for the computer (Osculator) input.

Are there some interfaces that Pacarana will allow to do this? Or is there a way to do it that I don't know about?

thanks,
Phil

Sorry but MIDI in and out are linked; the same device handles both. Some devices have more than one MIDI or audio port (which is the reason for having separate input and output selectors in the DSP Status window).

Too bad. Thanks.

Which interfaces have more than one midi port in/out?
