Hi,
I just realised that you added support for this! I checked the instructions and it looks like you only need the MIDI out of a Capybara hooked to the Behringer (plus of course the feed to the Capy in). In that case does this work on older Capybara hardware with only 1 MIDI I/O (a la my Capy 320 LS)?

If so then I'll be off to buy one tomorrow because this is what stopped me getting a MotorMix

Sorry but the MotorMix and BCF2000 work on Capybara-320 and Paca(rana) only. The Capy-66 and Capy-LS do not, unfortunately, have enough memory on the motherboard to support this feature.

OK thanks for letting me know.

I'll stick with my Max tricks!

IS the BC2000 setup generalisable to other MIDI control boxes? I am using the FaderFox units as they are small and robust, and just manually map them, but the LC2 has a feedback approach for Ableton Live which I thought might work on Kyma?

Cheers, Garth

Hi SymbolicSound,

Do you have details of the template you use to program the BCF2000?

This would be useful to maybe generate a Lemur template to emulate it.

Cheers

Andy

Andy (and any one else interested),

My company has developed a new OSX product, vM2, that transforms a Lemur to a fairly accurate emulation of a MotorMix. Basically the Lemur out of the box is not capable of fully imitating a MotorMix; the biggest problem being proper handling of the LCD messages. vM2 is an OSX background application (called a "user agent") that provides the necessary control and translation that makes Lemur MotorMix compatibility possible. vM2 includes a Lemur template that completes the picture. More details can be found at http://www.delora.com. Its price has not yet been set.

We have been using it internally for a while with Kyma with excellent results.

We are just now finishing our internal BETA testing but if you would like participate in our external BETA please send an email to vm2beta@delora.com with the subject "beta request". Include in the email your full name, primary email address that we can use as a point of contact, and some information about your computer configuration.

Thanks for the interest!

Doug
