iīm running timelines locked to ltc from a workstation. every time the tc stops, all the sounds keep on runnig. samples with autoloop keep on playing etc.. is it possible to make kyma stop the dsp when incomming tc stops? if not, this would be my wish for the next update. maybe a toggle in the prefs?
another thing is that the corsor in the timeline doesnīt show the current position when tc is running. when the first sound starts at 5 hours tc and tc is before that the cursor doesnīt run, so itīs very hard to visually see the current position of the workstation.
when a timeline is locked to tc and i edit a running sound i get a lot of errors when closing the sound editor. it shouldnīt be a problem to re-compile the sound and lock to tc after that again. right now i have to stop tc and restart.
any hints?

frank.

We have added to first thing to the list of enchancements for the next release of Kyma.

For the second thing, do you have empty time before the first time bar? In the time line, the leftmost time is set by the time code offset, and limits where the time cursor can be displayed.

When you say that you get errors, what does Kyma say?

the cursor just doesnīt run when there is nothing in the timeline or the first event is after the current position.
iīll check for the error message...
one more thing. when zooming in the timeline, the cursor should be kept centered. itīs pretty annoying that when you whant to edit a controller in detail and you zoom in everything jumps to the right out of sight. then i allways have to zoom out again to look for the event or scroll right till it shows up in the windows again.

yes i agree frank - what about a magnifying glass type tool for dragging over desired zoom area?
