![]() ![]() ![]() I just uploaded a handful of sounds that I don't think I've uploaded before. In some cases, there are examples I've uploaded in collapsed example form and I've now included the expanded versions so you can edit the structures yourself. http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Share/Sounds#Synthesis BP_Synth.zip http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Share/Sounds#Effects_Processing BP_Effects.zip For Paca / Pacarana users there may be sounds that rely on the old CAG microsounds. Most often those can be replaced with something else from the prototypes (I think the most common use case is to replace with a mixer). Also some sounds use the old method for creating bit crushed sounds. The Blue Delays come to mind. The old method doesn't work and requires using the wavetable method (search the forum for more info). Enjoy. IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! Thanks a million Ben, its nice to see someone posting sounds. I had a bit of a play with the synths so far and there's some great sounds in there and it looks like there's stuff to learn from your structures (mmm TripleWaveFolder!!). However, from my tests there's a few problematic sounds, at least on my system. I'm running Kyma 6.80, Capybara 320, CAG v5 and OSX 10.6.6. Here's my notes: Sound Annie gives me a "Kyma encountered this unexpected condition: Class not found" error. That's a new one to me! Any ideas what could cause that? ComplexOSC_Complex Example (both of them) want a wave called BiPolarControlMix.aif (from Kyma > Waveforms >Waves according to the dialogue) but I don't have that on my system. Would you be able to post it? David [This message has been edited by mk23 (edited 07 June 2011).] [This message has been edited by SSC (edited 07 June 2011).] IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() I searched around for BiPolarControlMix.aif and couldn't find it anywhere so I asked Ben if he has a copy of it somewhere. The other message has to do with Sounds that are implemented only on the Paca(rana) and not on the Capybara. IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() @SSC: Thanks for the speedy reply! Hopefully Ben can find the missing .aif. re: the error message, that is interesting. However, the whole error contains lots of references to CAG sounds, which AFAIK only run on Capy hardware. I will email the whole error message tonight when I'm in front of Kyma again... ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for posting the .aif. That enabled me to try out the Complex OSC sounds. Ben, they are also really nice, cheers! @SSC, I'm wondering why the error message by the Annie sound has the references to CAG microsound stuff, like this: code:FastIdentityDictionary (Noise1OverF->5 Switch->3 FunctionGenerator->3 AmplitudeScaled->2 DisableGate->3 FFTReshuffle->4 ChannellerLeft->1 FDFTCascadingMatrix->18 CAGTwiddleV1a-> when there are not any CAG microsounds being used! Also, would it be possible to have a list of Paca only prototypes (or even an updated prototypes reference mentioning this?) Thanks David [This message has been edited by mk23 (edited 14 June 2011).] [This message has been edited by mk23 (edited 14 June 2011).] IP: Logged
