Hi SSC!

I wonder if there is a support for the Apogee Duet 2 planned?
I guess itīs not class compliant, right?

Best regards,
Martin

Hi Martin!

We cannot support USB interfaces with more than 2-in/2-out or sample rates higher than 48 kHz. We recommend FireWire interfaces for additional channels and higher sample rates.

Thanks!

Has this changed, or is it still status quo?

The Paca(rana) has a standard USB port and is capable of 2 channels at 48 kHz. For more channels and/or higher sample rates, we recommend FireWire interfaces.

Are you suggesting the MOTU because of the Firewire 400 (800 connection)?

Which would then connect to my MacBook via a Thunderbolt to Fire 800 adapter.
