![]() ![]() ![]() I wondered if it is possible to control the SmoothDelayChanges parameter independently from the overall delay time? As it stands now the smoothness of the delay change is directly related to the delay time, and gets longer as the delay is longer... A 10 second delay makes for very slow movements in the delay time. Would anyone else agree with me that it would be useful to be able to separately control this parameter by using a smooth: message in the delay scale parameter field, for example? Or any other way which does not affect backwards compatibility maybe? Regards, Rob IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I have found a potential way around this, by using a lot of short delays in series... However I am having trouble utilising a script to achieve it... Having 10 short (100 ms) delays works a treat, but I would love to be able to experiment with different configurations, maybe 100 ten millisecond delays in series! So my question is again simple: How do I use a script to connect a group of sounds in series? I have been using the "10 taps" sound in the Sound Library but this is a script that uses sounds in paralell i think. The script is as follows: 1 to: 10 do: [:i | Going into this script is a delayWithFeedback and the source signal. The source signal is "inputs at: 1". I have a feeling that this is close to what I need, by reading in Kyma X revealed (page 283 - Constructing Sounds Algorithmically) but if I have the 'del' Sound and a Variable prototype going into the script and use (inputs at: 2) Kyma asks me to Supply a varriable for ?anInput... I am confused because I thought I supplied it. Anyway, I am having a blast learning so much and am finally feeling that I am getting somewhere. :) IP: Logged |
