I'm new to the Linnstrument, but as far as I can tell, the issue seems to be that Kyma isn't responding as 'note per channel'.

The linnstrument is set up to send it, and I can see all 16 channels coming into Kyma. I have 'Other' selected for the external midi controller in Kyma preferences, and I have the continuum and mpe mode selected. I am trying the downloaded linnstrument example sounds. but the sounds only respond to notes that are coming in on the Kyma default midi channel, even though kyma is seeing the other channels. I'm confused....

Edit: got a response from SS in just a few minutes (i had sent an email). I'm new also to kymaconnect, and that's where I screwed up. You need to set up the linnstrument as both an input and output in the external midi setup in kymaconnect. I had set up kymaconnect as a virtual midi port in the application that I usually use in the background for that kind of thing. That wasn't working.

there must be something that I am missing, but I can't figure it out. I also just installed midiconnect, and that seems to be working (else how would I be getting the midi channels into Kyma).

This request was answered by email yesterday. The solution was to set up Delora's KymaConnect to have a bi-directional MIDI connection between Kyma and LinnStrument.

By the way, the preferred spot for posing Kyma 7 questions is here: http://kyma.symbolicsound.com/community

Sorry about that - I don't see a support section there.
