![]() ![]() ![]() I have a G4 running OS 9.1 and Kyma 5.12 with a Capybara 66 and 8 cards. At certain times I get a "out of real time" message when I should have plenty of DSP in reserve. Today I was using Write Memory, Granulate Memory which uses about 3/4 of a card DSP. When I bring it into a timeline with Write Memory, Read Memory which uses about 1/4 DSP, I get the "Out of Real Time" error. It shows one card peaking out and the rest of the cards on idle. User error? Thanks, Bob IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() i also experienced some problems with the processor assignement. sometimes just one dsp peaks, the others are busy to 1/3 (320, 2 cards) forced processor assigment not always helps then. happens often with vocoders... ->michael IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: Hello Bob, I've emailed you a revised version of your timeline. The Write/Read memory Sound and the Write/Granulate memory Sound were both writing to the *same* chunk of memory. When I played the timeline, it gave me a warning that 'recording' was being written more than once at the same time. When I changed the granulator to read/write 'recording2', it no longer gives the warning and schedules with no problems. IP: Logged |
