![]() ![]() ![]() After changing the resolution of my monitor today I found out that I had been missing out on a Kyma window, the Launcher window. Has this (unclosable? (new word?)) window always been there, or did it come with one of the latest updates? I do not remember reading anything about it and it does not appear on the Choose window list. David? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() That window has always been there (from 5.06 at least), and it struck me as a legacy holdover from the Smalltalk implementation used by SSI. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The Launcher (normally) appears on the Windows version of Kyma only. It is there because it is possible to close all of the windows in Windows and still have Kyma running -- then it would be impossible to quit the Kyma application. On the Macintosh, it is unnecessary since, even if you close all of the windows, you can still use the menu bar to quit Kyma. IP: Logged |
