Hello. I have the capybara 320-LS system. I was told by SS that the motor mix does not work with this system. Why is that? And, What if I build my own motorized midi controller? Will that work?

The mapping and controlling of the MotorMix is performed by the controlling processor in the Capybara. On the Capybara-LS (and 33 and 66). there is not enough memory (and processing power) on the processor to both control the MotorMix and handle the system I/O.

Any MIDI fader box can work with any of the Capybara models. It is just that we have added extra support to the Capybara-320 to remap the controller numbers and to move the faders.

It would be possible to use Max or a programming language to create an application to remap the faders of the MotorMix (or any other MIDI controller).
