I am wondering what you folks who are asking for ASIO drivers for the Kyma/Caby are going to DO with them? Personally, I don't see them as being very useful to the way I work and I am wondering what I am missing.... KNOWING full well that we all use the Kyma in different ways.... I am looking not to start a hail of "hurry up with our ASIO drivers" postings... but rather to be enlightened as to what tasks you all are going to acomplish with this new feature. Please enlighten me!

hi vance
Its realy for those of us who use cubase vst and other asio compatable software.

with out the asio drivers,to use the prossesing of kyma as a plug in for cubase , we have to get an interface in and out of the computer and then plug it in and out of the cappy . If we wanted 8 channels of kyma prosseing and our audio interface only had 8 channels ,then there would be no more ins or out left to send out to the 2 track master recorder(DAT) or even monitors.

With asio drivers the sound could be routed back and forth internaly so that even without any computer audio interface you could get the same as above and still have all 8 cappy ins and outs available for monitoring and other external equipment.
